Overview

This privacy policy explains how ChamberLog, developed by SmartCode AS, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our iOS application.

Data We Collect

We collect the following data that you enter directly into the app:

  • Email address and password (for account authentication)
  • Your name (for personalization)
  • Weapon information (name, type, caliber, serial number)
  • Shooting session data (date, location, shot count, ammunition, notes)
  • Competition results (name, date, placement, result)
  • Images and documents you upload to the app

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. This means only you can access your own data — no other user can see your information.

Images and documents are stored in Supabase Storage with access control that ensures only you can view your uploaded files.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, with the following exceptions:

  • Supabase – our database and storage provider. Data is processed in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat – used to process in-app purchases and manage subscription status. Purchase information is handled in accordance with their privacy policy.
  • Apple – payment processing for App Store subscriptions is handled by Apple.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate information
  • Delete your account and all associated data

You can delete your account and all data directly from within the app under Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Security

We take data security seriously. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with encryption. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth, which follows industry-standard security practices.

Children's Privacy

ChamberLog is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
